Problem backing up through new storage nodes

hi community,

we implemented two new storage nodes into out backup environment.

The storage nodes run networker version 7.6.3.3. Each storage node has three network interfaces: production network, backup network, old backup network.

When I try to backup through production network, everything works find. But when I wanna backup over the backup LAN or the old backup LAN, i receive the following messagt from networker:

nsrd media notice: no matching devices for save of client `server01'; check storage nodes, devices or pools

The pools the storage node should backup through has no restricted device, so every storage node is able to write into the pools.

There are thre Data Domain Boost devices mounted to the storage node.

DNS forward and backward resolution is implemented.

We have appr. 15 different storage node with the same network configuration where everything works just fine.

Who can help me?

If I need to provide more information, just let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Jan.

Things to check:

a) your client for storage node should have all 3 FQDN represeting all 3 VLANs in alias list

b) your client should use for storage node FQDN represeting preferred VLAN through/to which data should go from client
