Firstly, welcome to the forums, and above all, thank you for being an EMC customer.
Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "NetWorker Support Forum".
My response was directed to the author of the post as you won't be able to relocate it. The owner is the only person that can relocate it out of his "Discussions" space.
if you checked the NMDA installation guide you will find that it is mentioned for Sybase only you have to install NMDA 32bit even if you have a 64bit server. I tried the 64bit version first and when i tried to add the client with the wizard i couldn't find Sybase in the list of applications installed on the server.
Anyways i found the solution for the problem, it's related to the environment variables on the Sybase client itself. If you checked under the Sybase installation Directory
e.g.: c:\sybase\PRD
you will find a file called sybase.env and also a windows batch file sybase.bat which have all the environment variables for Sybase. Just add all this environment variables to Windows gloabal environment variables and restart the networker client and it will work.

Hi Chris,
I don’t see the “Move” under “Action”. I only have “Report abuse” and “View as PDF”.
Is there a way to grand me more privileges to do?

Two questions:
a) you mentioned 64 bit client and 32 bit module - why so? Is Sybase 32-bit?
b) have you tried to make configuration manually - outside wizard?
