Hi Michael,

Could you please be more specific about the issue you are having?  What is not working exactly?  Can you browse all clients' data except one client?  Is there nothing browsable at all or is some data browsable and not others?  If there is just one file affected, is it not browsable for all dates?  Did this work before for this client?

You might want to use the mminfo and nsrinfo commands to get a better idea of what NetWorker has backed up for this client and what indexes are available:

This command will tell you what has been backed up for this client - the 'sumflags' value should have a 'b' for browsable:

mminfo -q client=[client_name_here] -r ssid,name,level,savetime,ssbrowse,ssretent,sumflags,totalsize,volume,nsavetime -ot

This will give the details of what is in the NetWorker indexes for this client at the time that is of interest to you.

nsrinfo -t [nsavetime here - last column from above output] [client_name_here]

From this you can tell if the data you are looking for has been backed up, is still browsable and whether it is available in the indexes.

Hi Bobby,

Thanks for your response. Well the principal problem is when I want to recover file or directory from source client to destionation client and these are the same, in the button "Browse" from the recover options that is disabled as well as the "always prompt"  checkbox. This recover I do from Networker Server with the NetWorker User GUI.

I hope to be more specif in my explanation.

Greetings

You may not have a valid backup, your user may not have rights to do the restore or your backup may have passed out of its browse period in which case you can make it browsable by recovering the index using nsrck -L7 -t time clientname - I would suggest you follow Bobby's recommendation above to confirm whether you not you have a vaid backup for the client in question for the date you wish to recover.

Hi David,

thanks for your response but I haven't problem with my backup information. I attached an image for you can see the problem.

I think that the problem is for some right in the NW server 7.6.1.

It suggests to me that you don't have rights to browse the client you want to recover to.
