RPC send operation failed; errno = An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Hi All,
I am getting below error while taking backup of windows client.
error -> RPC send operation failed; errno = An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
I had suggested user to set "KeepAliveTime" and reboot the server, But unfortunately this is production server and we can not reboot this server. Is there any other way to solve this issue without rebooting the client server?

A reboot is required after modifying KeepAliveTime.

And if you use VSS, is it successful then?

Hi All/Tim,
Manual backup successful from client by using VSS:*=off parameter.
save -D9 -s -o "vss:*=off"
