Hello Carlos Rojas

Below is the example of permission that change automaticly

  1. 172.31.3.40 (vicosun99) was the restore source, 172.31.3.77 (vicosun06a) was the restore target/destination.

source.jpg

As we can see, folder oracle (parent folder) on vicosun99 have dba permission, on oracle folder they have 9 folder inside including admin, cfgtoollogs, etc (child folder). When we do some partial restore (only restore 7 folder inside oracle folder), permission on the parent folder (oracle) become root automaticly.

Hello Yadic,

I understand you are talking about the permissions, right?

As the screenshot you attached doesn't show the owner of the folders, could you please maybe provide the command from ls -lisa instead so that we can have a better understanding?

Thank you,

Carlos
