Release date Networker 7.6 SP1

Question

Hi Networker Gurus!

We are currently in the process of replacing our old Backup Server, running Networker 7.4.3 x64 on Windows 2003 R2. Our new Backup Server will run on Windows Server 2008 R2, so the only viable option - installation will take place within the next two weeks - would be to install NetWorker 7.5.3. On the other side, NetWorker 7.6 SP1 is announced around Q3-2010 which supports Windows Server 2008 R2. So, anyone knows a more specific release date (or at least which month ... ) when NetWorker 7.6.1 will be out?

I just try to avoid having to install 7.5.3 now, whose NetWorker support ends one year earlier. A look for some official EMC Statement yielded no result

not announced yet which date 7.6.1 will be available

use 7.5.x then you can upgrade to 7.6 later , it will be free of charge from 7.5 to 7.6

just the End Of Primary Support as you mentioned for 7.5 will be December 31, 2011

for 7.6 will be November 30, 2012

Expected to be September 24.  With a 60 day leeway.  Hopefullt not though!
