Rename a storage node

I'm renaming 1 Networker server and a storage node - i've been through the doc "How to rename a Networker server for Windows" which is exactly what I need for the server but I didn't see anything about renaming storage nodes. Can someone please provide some guidance? Do I just rename the node, remove/reconfigure the storage, update media pools?

Thanks

alex78,

Yes you are correct - basically to change the storage node name (or server) you redefine the devices for the new host and delete the old. If you have devices linked to specific pools you will have to break the relationship (or unlink) before you can delete the existing devices.

If your devices are part of a jukebox you will have to recreate or reconfigure the jukebox which ever is easiest depending on which server controls the robotics.

Last think is it update the storage node field (recover and clone also if you use these) with the new name.
