Selcting object for sql backup is not showing the SQL DBs

Question

Hi All,

Am trying to add another application server / SQL DBs to the list of backups. When I try to add new client using the client wizard and I reach to the point that I need to select the DBs for backups and it wont show up .. none of the DBs on that server is showing up ?

The DBs am trying to sync to is SolarWinds databases for our monitoring system which shouldn't make any difference but thought to mention it.

Any ideas would be very helpful.

The only reason why might be permissions or server/client compatibility if difference between versions are too high.

Did you check wether NMDA/NMM/SSMS  has been installed corrected. I had the same problem where the module needs to be reinstalled with SQL options checked

Hrvoje Crvelin .. NM version is 9.0.1.7 NMM 9.0.1.7 and my Netwroker is 9.0.1.0 build 614 .. I shouldn't have version difference in this case. Also, I have installed this before for different servers and its working for all but not for this specific server.

raaj787 I did .. it is the usual installation nothing changed. I usually don't select the SQL plugin as I don't need it. Thanks

9.0.1.0 is initial release and as such I would never run it.  Right now, target release for NW9 is 9.1.1.4 with NMM being same version as well.
