Time zone in savepnpc

Now, this is weird....

My server and my client are both HP-UX, both with Nw 7.1.3, and both use scripts to do it's own backups, using precmd and postcmd. In the scripts, I stop some databases, and also give a command to register the time of the action, i.e. "date > backup.log".

Everything works fine, but look at this, if I just type "date" on client and server, it shows me:

Server: Thu Dec 15 11:45:22 BDT 2005
Client: Thu Dec 15 11:45:36 BDT 2005

But if I look at the backup.log, that's what I have:

Server: Thu Dec 15 11:45:22 BDT 2005
Client: Thu Dec 15 10:45:16 SAT 2005

I tried to run the scripts withou using savepnpc, and it shows the correct time!! Someone had this problem before? Why it's using another time zone when doing the backup using savepnpc?

If you dump environment used by savepnpc do you see same TZ setting as you get from command line (set in /etc/TIMEZONE)? If not try to set it. Not sure if daylight saving could be involved here as I have no idea what BDT and SAT stand for in this case...

To dump the environment sounds a good idea. I'll do that over the night and post the results...
