User audit log information missing
Hi All,
Recently I uninstalled and reinstalled NMC packages in Networker server. From that day i can see user audit long in NMC.
Did renaming or moving rap.log files made this changes or else anything I need to do to retrieve old logs via NMC user audit.
Please advise asap.
Advance Thanks,
Samuel Thomas

- Start recover
- Go to /nsr
- do versions logs
- select time via changetime for time before log folder was wiped
- cd logs
- ls -la
- you should see old(er) rap log(s)
- select them
- restore them

Samuel
The rap.log file is unconnected to the NMC. It is enabled within the resource for the Networker server. If your installation was a clean one (i.e. not using old configuration) the rap.log file is disabled by default and you need to set it in the Setup tab of the NSR server configuration.

Thanks David.
I enabled rap.log and now i able to view audit logs. But the problem was I can see logs only after reinstalled date. Not previous days log... Anyway to retrieve previous days log?

Sound like your reinstall wiped it. You can restore it probably from backup (if you have one).
