Hi Andrea,
This looks like a successful backup to me. What does the media database say about the backup?
mminfo -q client=[client] - r ssid,name,totalsize,level,ssflags,sumflags,volume -ot

Hi Bobby ,
the only error , which is reported in the all.log file is
77561:savegrp: command 'nsrvadp_save -s bkserver.appl.customer.domain -c clientname -g VMWARE_Retry -LL -m clientname -o "vss:*=off"; -l full -W 78 -N VM:clientname:*FULL* VM:clientname:*FULL*' for client clientname exited with return code 1
but is not very meaningful .
from mminfo i can see for today only one aborted save set (which is caused by myself while stopping the group the first time) .
But for the two additional run that I've done today I cannot see anything from mminfo
mminfo -r ssid,name,savetime,totalsize,level,ssflags,sumflags,volume -ot -q client=clientname
ssid name date total lvl ssflags fl volume
