backup interruption due to "RPC error: Request failed" ?

Is anyway to open the debug level?

For a group level diagnostic mode use, savegrp -vvv -D5 groupname c:\debug.txt >2&1

For further one more level use D9 instead of D5.

nsrexecd works in debig mode using nsrexecd -D9.

I don't see failure. You should post part before index gets saved.

To be honest I seem to be a bit clueless. It could be network issue easily, but there is not a single evidence in this log to support that (except RPC error itself, but there could be dozen of reasons for that).

I would start by checking usual suspects:
- is NIC/switch port in full duplex mode (not auto)
- is it forced to certain speed
- you may wish to update 7.3.2 to latest build

If none of those will yield results you must take step further and have network dump and do analysis/trace of it. If those will show nothing simply give everything to your support and leave them cope with it.

It seems the backup retried by itself.
Maybe the network problem casue this situaion.

I will use debug level -D9 to monitor this night.

The problem was sloved after I upgrade the networker version to 7.3.2. jumpo.
