Hi,

Could you please provide content of

C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\tmp\sg\Manu\sso.000003
or all files placed in:
C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\tmp\sg\Manu\sso.*

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I´ve already checked this file.

Content is just: 1 retry attempted

Weird.

Hi Weird,

Check DNS for the server to client and client to server
In the client:
nslookup server
nslookup server.fqdn
nslookup ip
Verify the same on the server
Test rpc call:
rpcinfo -p server
Test the backup for the client
save -s server -vvv -b DiskD /etc

exited with return code 1:  I have always seen this cause by some sort of networking issue.

The fact that the probe failed indicates more communication issues.

Like previous response, check forward and reverse look ups to and from the hosts.

Run the savefs manually on the client side.

verify NIC settings.

Since it is probe that fails, go to Linux client and execute following command and paste whole output here:

savefs -s -vpn
