cMode Netapp 8.3 NDMP backup, Networker 8.1 cluster aware backup

Question

We have configured a NDMP backup from cMode Netapp 8.3 to data-domain as destination, we are using SVM/path as save set for backup. However backup happens for the volumes of one node (configured as SVM home port) and not the other. please advice Is Networker 8.13.4, a cluster aware backup ?

8.1 is not fully compatible with Netapp ontap 8.3 version, create one more stanby LIF that can direct to anothe node
