file "shrinkage" with OCFS

I'm having a problem with Networker 7.1.2 for Linux. Some files being backed up from an OCFS 1.0 directory are restoring at a smaller size than the original. Nwrecover reports that these files "shrunk during save". The obvious thought is that perhaps the files were being modified during the save process. This does not appear to be the case - I just performed a backup and observed this failure on a file with a timestamp several days old. Additionally, before and during the save I ran fuser * in the directory and the only process ever reported was the Legato save process.

So I'm wondering whether I've run into a bug and whether there is a workaround or troubleshooting I can do. The directory in question is in an Oracle OCFS 1.0 file system. This version of OCFS is not posix compliant. Perhaps Networker simply isn't compatible with OCFS 1.0? If not, it is curious that some files appear to backup/restore fine.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Compatibility list would be something you are after - in this case:

I couldn't see any reference to OCFS being supported for file system backup.

Thanks - is the admin guide where that support statement would be found, if it existed? The admin guide does mention supported FSs in the platform-specific notes section and doesn't mention OCFS. Of course, I wouldn't necessarily expect to find it there since it is a 3rd party product.
