Hello Tim,

I am sorry for the delay in a response. Please log into Powerlink and perform a support search for EMC these Solution IDs

esg50070: "Index corruption issues during backup and or recovery"

esg67168: "How to repair simple media database corruption, and media database compression"

Let us know the results.

Thank you,

Mark

Hello Marc,

Thanks for the response.

I've already tried the steps that didn't require a reboot of networker, but those didn't solve it.

I'll plan a reboot of networker, and try an index recover.

I'll let you know the results once it's finished.

Kind regards

Tim,

Could you please tell us what version of Networker you are using?

Thank you,

Mark

It looks like you ran into a clientid issue. Did you re-create this client by any chance?

Please have a look at these KBs. Let us know if they are helpful.

esg67756 - Index entries being deleted after 24 hours
esg54620 - Client Index is not getting populated in the GUI
esg65254 - Error: 'the client is previously defined reapply to use the orginal client'
esg51622 - 'Unknown volume' - Troubleshooting 'client id' issues

Have you renamed your client in any way (even if to rename from short name to fully qualified domain name)?   Under nsr/index do you have any entries for a similar client name?

I've did a scanner -i -S -s on the storage node which holds the device of the backup. After that, I saw that the /nsr/index/bru0110x/db6 folders were modified, and I also got info from a nsrinfo -t bru0110x

I'm quite sure those entries would dissappear after next nsrim check.  This is typical issue when index is saved under wrong name due to either i) name resolution, ii) nested index structure or iii) clientid issue (related to second point).  Related to all 3points, check if you index folder for bru0110x.domain as well.
