unable to install NW client on windows 2008 SP2
Hi,
Im getting an error "set_hba_config: error calling RegCreatekeyEX, status=5 " while installing NW client 7.6 on windows 2008. I dont have hba installed on this client.
while I try to install 7.5.2, I get a different error "cannot copy/nsr/config.cat " .
Any Idea why I;m getting this error? I'm unable to register this client. Anything to do with registry?

I think hba in this case is HomeBase Agent. What exactly version are you trying to install (I believe latest 7.6 is 7.6.0.9)?

Maybe there is a problem with permissions. Especially in a context of "cannot copy/nsr/config.cat " message.

thanks for your replies, I dont see 7.6.0.9 in powerlink downloads. Where can I download it? I have domain admin rights.

This issue maybe if you login on server with TEMP profile. Or you user have no administrative privileges.
