2816 and problem with two nic i210
I have two servers with dual network adapters intel i210 and a switch that connects them
I do not have vlan or other switch is set with the default parameters
i have only create lag1 and lag2 for connect nic
server1= nic1 port and nic2 port on lag id 1
server2= nic1 port and nic2 port on lag is 2
on intel link aggregation i have test total mode for aggregation but not reach 200mb/s
when copy file i see nic traffic and a nic transmits and the other receives a small data flow
i set intel nic on sla mode permanente aggregation next test lacp etc but not find solutions

Hi,
What kind of servers are they? What OS are they running? How big are the files you are testing with? What switch firmware version are you on? The file transfer is only going across one nic and not both correct?

the switch firmware il latest
for test use two pc with windows 7 and nic intel i210 thas support sla aggregation and lacp
If enable lacp and use switch cisco copy iso file at 230MB/s on lacp mode
if enable lacp with dell the pc not see second pc....see only gateway if select on nic sla mode (link static aggregation) the system working but
when copy file the system use only one nic. If disconnect this nic the fault tollerance working because second nic continum copy iso file without brack.
I read the sla mode use only one network if destination is the same Recipient. Use second nic only change recipient pc.
Only lacp full aggregate nic and use total speed for trasfer file to another pc in single session. but DELL not support lacp .
