Try clearing your browser cache. There is a common problem that happens to a number of people because the browser cache is storing password and when you try to login it sends the info in the cache no matter what you type.
Another possible problem is arp cache. If you have problems connecting to the switch try deleting the arp cache ("arp -d" on windows) and then try again.
Finally some users have reported issue with firewalls and internet security suite interfering with the login especially if they are trying to filter HTTP.
