Connecting N1500 series using 10GbE uplinks

Question

I have two N1548P switches that will be located on two floors, 120 metres apart.  I will run a OM3 fibre cable to cover the distance and want to use the SFP+ ports to connect the two switches.  I don't need them to be stacked, so am I correct in assuming I will just need to set one of the SFP+ ports (eg Te1/0/4) into Ethernet mode on each switch to get them to pass traffic?

Hi, Yes, if you are not stacking them just have them in Ethernet mode and a trunk port that passes the appropriate VLANs.
