Yes, I have tried just about everything I could think of. I tried moving the transceiver to a different port on the switch. I have moved the cable to a known good port on the router, I have used a known good cable, and just about any combination of the above, all with no change. I read somewhere that some Dell 10G switches don't auto negotiate speeds correctly when going to a 1G port, and that the fix was to set the interface speed manually. However, the speed command is not present on any of my interfaces which means I am unable to test if this actually fixes the issue, or if it is actually relevant to this model switch.
Unfortunately, when I purchased the switch, it was old new stock and did not come with any support. Is there a way to get support so that I can download the OS and firmware?
I unfortunately, do not have a Force10 account as well, as this is the first piece of Dell equipment that I have purchased somewhat new. When trying to make an account it requests a Force10 contact which I do not have.

Hi,
Have you tried different ports and a different cable?

What OS are you running? It looks like there should be a speed command.

Switch is running 8.3.7.0.
I tried to post the actual output a few times, but post kept disappearing for some reason.

It looks like the command wasn’t added until the version 9 of the OS. You may want to try to update.

See if it gives you the updates if you have a force10 account. https://www.force10networks.com/csportal20/Main/Login.aspx
