Dell S4128F-ON OS10: linux shell interface (ip link) commands don't seem to work

Question

On two Dell S4128F-ON switches  both running OS10.5.0.0P5 In the Linux shell,  interfaces do not seem to go out With a command like 'ip link set dev e101-010-0 down'. If you check the output in the Linux shell the interface is down but in the clish the interface is still up: e101-010-0:  mtu 1500 qdisc multiq master brxxx state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 clish: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Port Description Status Speed Duplex Mode Vlan Tagged-Vlans----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Eth 1/1/10          up    10G full     T   xxxx xxxxx Anyone with the same issue?
