Dell S6100-on not loading ONIE
Hi Everyone,
I have a Dell S6100-ON switch which is not booting up into the grub loader/ONIE. After reboot I get the following message:

Press or to enter setup.
From BIOS I have 2 boot options:
1. UEFI: Built-in EFI Shell
2. P0: Generic FCR SATA Loader Lo
If I boot into UEFI shell, it loads a shell and I am not sure how to use this shell. If I boot into the Generic FCR SATA Loader, I just get the below output:
Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key
Any suggestions on how to recover this? Please let me know

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell.
I don't know if you are using OS 9 or 10 but you told us you see only two boot options. I don't see "OS" for a boot option, meaning you are most likely to need to re install the OS. (Please proceed with caution) If that doesn't help it might be a hardware issue I'm assuming.

Thanks for your response. To give you a little more information, the switch was not installed with OS9 or OS10. It was installed with BigSwitch SwitchLight OS. And the two boot options I see are in BIOS. I don't get any grub boot option. I can't seem to enter the Grub at all.
I can definitely try re-installing OS. But could you please give me pointers on how (a link might help)? Is there a USB install option? Please let me know.

I tried a few more things I was able to use ONIE recovery ISO to boot into ONIE recovery mode.
When I check blkid, I see that /dev/sda is not mounted:
I tried to see if any partitions are created for /dev/sda and looks like there are none:
I tried to create partitions on /dev/sda filesystem and looks like its erroring out:
This looks like the HDD inside the switch has failed. Or is there something I am missing here?
Also is there a way to use the USB drive inserted as the storage instead of the internal HDD? Please let me know
