Dual 5424 failover help

I've got 2 PC 5424's with the concept of each server having a nic connected to one port on each switch in an active-standby nic setup.  Each 5424 is connected back to a Cisco 3508G via fiber cable.  Each 5424 is sliced up into 3 VLANS(1,3 & 4).  The NIC failover works great for anything on VLAN 1, but I can not get this working for anything on VLAN's 3 or 4.  VLANs are all untagged, all port flowcontrol on, and all ports except the uplink to the Cisco are set as portfast.  The cisco ports are setup as 802.1Q trunk, portfast off and asymentric flow control.

Any ideas?

Thanks - Jeff

It goes to figure in the '24th hour' I'd find the answer.  This article from HP shed light to the fact that to "trunk" multiple VLAN's and not have all the untagged frames thrown into the default VLAN, tagging must be done on all but at most one VLAN.  The answer is to make the Trunk port mode: "trunk", and make it a tagged member of all VLAN's except one.  This way the frames stay discernible as to which VLAN they belong when passing through the trunk lines.
