% Error: Port is in Layer-2 mode Port channel
Hi guy. I'm config VLTi using port channel. But I have problem
(conf)#interface port-channel 100
(conf-if-po-100)#description VLTi-LINK
(conf-if-po-100)#channel-member TenGigabitEthernet 1/37-1/40
% Error: Port is in Layer-2 mode Te 1/37.
% Error: Port is in Layer-2 mode Te 1/38.
% Error: Port is in Layer-2 mode Te 1/39.
% Error: Port is in Layer-2 mode Te 1/40.
(conf-if-po-100)#no shutdown
>> And Then I check vlan at interface I see that:
#show interfaces tengigabitethernet 1/37 status
Port Description Status Speed Duplex Vlan
Te 1/37 Up 10000 Mbit Full 4094
Please help me fix error ? Thanks guy

Hi,
Which model switch is it and what is the OS version? You probably need to set the ports to layer 3 mode.
