GVRP

Hi all,

Good day!

Can I use GVRP between the two switch? I want to propagate VLANs dynamically to access (floor) layer switch from the core. Twenty-one access layer (floor) switch have on this network. And I have experienced VTP on Cisco products but I haven't experienced on Dell products. Have GVRP any version like VTP? So please suggest the following photo to config. Thanks.

Re: GVRP

Hi,

What model switches are you using? You should be able to us GVRP, it functions similarly to VTP without the propriety Cisco parts.

Thanks,

Re: GVRP

Hi Bro,

Good day. We used N4048-ON as distribution layer switch, and the access layer switches are N2024, N3024, and N5524 as below. We want to propagate all VLAN when we create the Fiber Core Switch (N4048-ON). Because the floor switch (access layer switch) are too many on the network. So ... Thanks for your reply.
