How do I limit a port speed on 5212 ?

I would like to limit the speed of certain ports to certain speeds on our PowerConnect 5212's. Example : port1=5 Mbps, port3=2 Mbps, port5=10 Mbps, port12=45 Mbps Is this possible? thanks

What you'd be looking for is rate-limiting, which is not a feature of the 52xx series of switches. The only options are 10/100/1000.

Thank You for the reply Steve, do you have a list of switches (off the top of your head) that we can buy to be able to do this?

The switch would not have to be 1000 just 12-24-48 ports that we can put in place for a designated purpose "limits"
