Is it possible to stack Z9100-ON switches?

Hi,

I just wanted to confirm whether that is possible or not.

There is an old, unanswered thread over here:

https://networkengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/45573/how-to-configure-switch-stacking-on-dell-z9100-on-switches

Best regards,

Stacking is not listed as a feature on the datasheet. I'd expect to find it there, if it were supported.  Now, I did look at the CLI guide and searched for the term "stack" and found nearly 700 references.  I would give that a look to see if any of that appears helpful. The front panel of the switch has a stack ID window.

CLI Guide: https://dell.to/2wtaNN8

It looks like it will stack, but as a rule, I defer to the datasheet. I'd test it myself to try to get you a concrete answer, but I don't have any Z9100s available, unfortunately.

is there any news on this question?

there is no mention of stacking in the instructions

if it does not support typical stacking, then why is there a mention of stacking throughout the switch?

why needs that commands?
