Havn't got access to a 5324 at the monet, but I would try this ( assuming I've understood your question correctly )

If you want to connect 2 X 5324s toegther with an aggregate, and use that aggregate as an 802.1q  trunk then thats no problem.

Lets say ports 23 & 24 are LAG 1 on each switch.

Configure ports 23 & 24 as trunk ports.

Configure ports 23 & 24 to form LAG 1 on each switch.

Tag LAG 1 into all of the VLANs you want to trunk between the two switches.

Connect the switches together........

Unfortunately the 5324 is connecting to a Cisco 6513.

If I set the two ports, in this case 23 & 24, to LAG group 1 and then try to  change them to Trunk - or vice versa - I get an error message indicazting that it can't be done because it is a member of a LAG.
