Linking existing switch stack with new switches via Fiber

Question

Hey, we have an existing stack of Power Connect N3048 switches and are now trying to link this to a new PowerConnect N3024p switch in a different location. I've never setup a switch to switch fiber link before and to be honest was hoping it would just work once connected. We''ve connected to SFP Fiber Connectors at both ends and patched in the fibre, both ends light up and if I run, Show fiber-ports optical-tranceiver I get, Port      Temp Voltage Current Power   Power   TX    LOS           [C]  [Volt]    [mA]  [dBm]   [dBm]   Fault --------- ---- ------- ------- ------- ------- ----- --- Te2/0/2   26.3 3.294       6.5  -3.268  -3.839 No    No Te3/0/2   30.6 3.304       7.1  -3.275  -4.437 No    No Te4/0/2   27.9 3.306       7.9  -3.205  -4.920 No    No So looks like there is a link, however any device we attach to the new switch doesn't get online. Theres only one one flat VLAN 1. Config on the ports as below. (config-if-Te2/0/2)#show interfaces advertise te2/0/2   Port: Te2/0/2 Type: 10G - Level Link State: Up Auto Negotiation: Disabled   I've done some digging and auto negotion should be set to Disabled but a lot of places also say duplex should be set to full. However the duplex command doesn't seem to work.   (config-if-Te2/0/1)#duplex full^% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.   Am I going down the right track? or is there another issue I haven't forseen?

Hi Malcz, There is not a duplex command on the N3000 since full duplex is the only supported option. Page 401 https://dell.to/3iI3Zi0 Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Josh! I'm theory should it just be plug and play then once sfp/fibre is connected at both ends?
