Willl this stop other MAC addresses from useing it. I guess what I mean is if I set it up in the above manner and I attach a device. When I remove that device and put some other device there will it learn the MAC of the new device and allow it to use the port or once it has learned 1 MAC it won't learn any more.
When I use your sugested setup it works fine to a point but If I plug something else in it learns that address and carries on. Is there a way to make that address a permenant address once it is learned.

Just make sure you issue this command when you have the desired PC active in the port - you wish to be valid.
no port sec max addresses 1
port sec mode lock
