Thanks for your response i have attached my screen when i am using the show-logging command, We have Local area where we are currently using the cisco manageable switches sometime the peoples who don't want to keep the link up they try to do broadcast by extension switches and the cisco switches helps us to control the broadcast and only downs the port which is facing the broadcast so we can understand that from which switch we are getting the broadcast storm but now we want to use this dell powerconnect 5324 which is better and helpful mostly peoples recommended this to us but we are new to it and beginners its working well but we don't have any idea how to control the broadcast on the ports as we want it should down or suspend the only port where it has the broadcast. We can share our screen remotely for you if you can help we have large local area where we have almost 20 switches of cisco if you can configure only one and let us know we will use the powerconnect only.
