Network simulator?

Does anyone know if there is an updated (or any) simulator for the F10 MXL, S, or N series switches?  I see the FTOS 9.11 emulator for the S series but looks like it's lacking a few things and hasn't been updated for a while.

FTOS 9.11 is the latest FTOS release, and is the latest FTOS emulator. The emulated OS does have limitations, which can be found in the user guide.

I am not aware of an emulator for the N-series switches. The MXL switches do not have a emulator iso, but the MXL also runs 9.11 and the commands should mostly be the same between the S and MXL.

Is there something specific you are trying to accomplish?

De PowerConnect 6xxx or PowerConnect 4032 has eny CLI emulator?

We have these two devices and we want to interconnect them, but because they are in production we wanted to do the emulation first.

Most switch to switch connections will use Trunk mode so that multiple VLANs can traverse the connection. Here is a KB article on how to configure Trunk mode: https://dell.to/2yKG9zG

I am happy to answer any questions you have about connecting the switches together.
