Hi

I am trying to use OMNM's Traffic Analyzer feature to measure and display the total traffic, incoming and outgoing on a port of a PC-6248 switch.

The Exporters Summary view displays the incoming traffic only on a port, is there a Taffic Anlyzer view that shows the outgoing traffic or total traffic on a port ?

Can the total traffic on a port can be calculated using Converations or End Point views ?

I think you are right, the info I want is in the Performance Data rather than in the Traffic Analyzer so I have created some custom dashboard views to display the ports I want to monitor.

I am trying to understand the realtionship between two performance metrics "Overall Bandwidth Use (Mbytes)" and "BW Util bps".

What is the difference / relationship between these two metrics and is one a more accurate reflection of total traffic through a port ?

I could not see an explantion of this in the manual.

I have a dashboard set up that displays both on the same screen, please see that attached screen shot. BW Util bps is thousands of bits and Overall Bandwidth Use is in Megabytes. Regards, Andrew
