PC 5548 - Add a Secondary Connection to Core Switch
My Goal:
We have a Dell PC 5548. Currently it is connected back to the core Switch from port Te 1/0/1 (1GB) (Dell S4048-N) via another switch. We recently add a new fiber (10GB - Te 1/0/2) cable from the Core Switch (S4048-On) to the 5548. We want to make that new connection as Primary and keep the other as a secondary. I cannot to aLAG because of the speed issues with the cables.
Can i assign Path Cost or priotirty to the port to only use Te 1/0/2 first if not connection then use Te 1/0/1. I do not want create a loop.
Thanks.
