PowerConnect 2724 cannot connect to web UI
Yes, old equipment, I know, I'm working with what I have.
And it was working fine before I had to reboot the entire network. Everything here is within the 192.168.5.0/24 subnet, including the switch itself, which has a static DHCP reservation for 192.168.5.2.
After it rebooted along with everything else, the managed mode light was still on, I could actually connect to 192.168.5.2, but would time out getting a response.
As of now Ive tried resetting it.... about 4 times, changing my workstation over to 192.168.2.2, and configuring.
But right now any time I try to change the switch's IP, either via DHCP, or a static mapping, after the change (and switching my IP settings back over), it will pick up the new address, I can connect to the new address... but will get no data and time out.

Hi,
So it only stops working when you change the IP but it works fine when it is 192.168.2.1? Is the laptop the only thing connected during testing or are there other devices?

Excuse me for the late reply.
Initially there was the rest of the network attached, but I later unplugged everything, resulting in just my laptop, or my laptop and the DHCP server when testing how it responded to DHCP. It didn't make any effect.

Does it work if you don’t change the IP?

That is the only time that it works.

Can you reset the switch to default then configure the ip and see if it works?
