PowerConnect 6224 RADIUS not working with Server 2016

Question

I have 2 PowerConnect 6224 switches using MS Server 2008r2 Network Policy Server for authentication that working without any issues. I need to upgrade my Network Policy Server to Server 2016, but my switches will no longer authenticate with the new 2016 radius servers configured the identically as the 2008r2 servers. The 2016 server states the "radius request did not match any configured connection request policy". As stated earlier the configurations are the same. I read something about a change with NPS radius with 2016, but never saw any specifics. I am currently running firmware version 3.3.15.1 on the switches.

The radius configuration on the switches:

aaa authentication login "RadiusList" radius local

radius-server host auth x.x.x.x

name "RADIUS-Serverx"

key "xxxxxxxxxxx"

exit

It turned out to be a Windows Network Policy Server issue. I had 2 2016 NPS servers configured the identically, and I was working against a bad server. When I switched to the other NPS server radius authentication worked. I uninstalled the NPS feature and reinstalled it on the original server and it works too.
