PowerConnect 6224 SNMPv3 Question

Question

I am configuring SNMPv3 on a couple of PowerConnect 6224 switches. I am using a known working set of configurations from a handful of N1500 series switches to try and get it working on the PowerConnect 6224 switches. I am running into a problem where SNMP messages are not being sent to the remote host, and if I try to run snmpwalk from the remote host to the 6224 then it says unknown user.

My question is -- which interface is used for SNMP when the Management Interface (vlan1) and a second VLAN interface are configured?

I cannot find any documentation at all that explains this, but if it is using the VLAN2 interface for SNMP that would make sense why my SNMP collector cannot talk with these switches.

I configured from the gui, however I've checked and compared my settings on the 6224 with the N1548 that are working:

show snmp

show snmp users

show snmp groups

Everything is configured identically, however I continue to get 'unknown user name' when using snmpwalk -v3. I have tested v2 and that is working correctly.

The v3 host is enabled:
