PowerConnect RPS-600 Fan Failure

Question

Good afternoon all - 1 of our RPS-600 redundant power supplies is throwing a RED LED on the fan logo. From the rear of the unit I can clearly see that 1 of the fans is no longer spinning. This RPS-600 is powering just 2 switches I presume this unit is long out of warranty. I also see this unit is no longer for sale on Dell's website. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we should do about the 1 failed fan? Can the unit run safely w/ 1 fan down? Are the fans a serviceable/replaceable part? Does Dell sell replacement fans? FYI: The RPS-600 is located very low in the rack below another RPS-600's (servicing 3 switches) - so I cannot view any stickers/labels on the bottom of the unit.

Hi, We didn’t separate the fans as its own part and the whole unit would have to be replaced. You may still be able to order one through sales, part number 310-1803.
