Restore configuration to factory defaults for PowerConnect 6248
Hi,
I've checked the PowerConnect 62XX documentation and it looks like you can restore configuration to factory defaults either through the Boot Menu (option 10) or through the management web interface (Systems -> File Management -> Copy Files -> Restore Configuration Factory Defaults).
Are the two functionalities equivalent or is there any difference between them? If so, which one is preferred?
Will that erase everything?
I'm looking into the better way to completely nuke everything (switch config, keys, certificates, stack config, etc.) on a PowerConnect 6248.
Thanks.

Systems -> File Management -> Copy Files -> Restore Configuration Factory Defaults - executes the 'clear config' command. This clears the running-config and does not delete any persistant data.
To completely set the switch to factory defaults, you need to through the Boot Menu.
