SFTP log in password
Hi Everyone Does anyone know what the default SFTP password is or how to change it ? While attempting to log in , It will not accept the admin password . Need to upload new configs .. The admin/user guides manuals have no info on this at all ! Thx Regards Rich

Hello,
There isn't a default password for SFTP, it would be whatever password it had assigned. The only password recovery option that I am aware of would be to resetting the config on the switch. That could mean a fair bit of time spent reconfiguring. If that's a route you end up going down, exporting the config as a reference point will save a lot of effort.
Are you trying to connect to the switch using an SFTP client? I ask because there shouldn't be a running SFTP server on the switch. Finally, what model switcha re we looking at and what OS? I'm more than happy to look into specifics, if you can list the switch and OS.
