SNMP commands for copy and reload on 3424

I'm tryinng to find SNMP commands to do the same as the CLI commands "copy" and "reload" for the PowerConnect 3424 and 3448.  Can anybody help me?

Do you have the MIBs for the 34xx and 33xx switches?  If so look at the file rlcopy.mib.  The SNMP objects in this MIB will provide you with the mean to execute copy on the 34xx and 33xx switches via SNMP.

I have the MIBs for the 33xx switches, but have not been able to download the MIBs for the 34xx switches.  I can see where to set all the parameters for the copy, but how is the copy initiated?

  Thanks

You can download the MIB for the 3424 at the support web site here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/type.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&SystemID=PWC_3424&os=NAA&osl=en&deviceid=8428

But in fact the 33xx and 34xx both use the same rlcopy.mib.

The rlCopyTable supports "rowstatus" mechanism.  You should be able to initiate the copy by creating an entry in the table.  There can only be one entry in this table at a time.

Add a row to do the copy then look at the rlCopyOperationState to see when it is done (success or fail).  Remember only one active entry is allowed.
