VLAN INTERFACES AT 10 HALF DUPLEX

I happen to be browsing the web interface of my 6248 and went into Routing > IP > Interface configuration. I look at all of my vlan interaces and the link speed says 10 Half. What gives? I can't find an option to change this on the web interace or CLI.

We treat VLAN interfaces as being 10 Mbps and Yes, this does have an effect at L3. OSPF by default computes its link metric from interface speed. So the default link metric on our VLAN routing interfaces is 10, while the default on all port based routing interfaces is 1.

NOTE:T his is just for Metric value of OSPF

Okay, To be clear, you are saying that the interfaces are actually running full duplex gigabit, unless I use OSPF?
