Which PowerConnect Switches support the Private VLAN feature?
My customer wishes to implement Private VLAN's to isolate a number of iSCSI interfaces from each other (but allow them all to access the iSCSI target
We currently have a single switch stack containing 2 x PowerConnect M6348 (blade) switches and 2 x 7024 switches.
I cannot seem to find the "Private VLAN" commands. Do these switches support Private VLANs?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I need to top the various iSCSI interfaces within a layer-2 VLAN from being able to communicate with each other, but allow them all to access the iSCSI target (EQL SAN Group IP).
My initial thought was to use Private-VLANs, but it looks like the 7024 / 6348 doesn't support thier use. There is a feature called Protected Groups which looks like it may work?

All four switches are a single logical stack (2 x 6348 and 2 x 7024) and are dedicated to iSCSI. Can protected ports be used in this scenario?
It seems very simple to create a Protected group and palce all the "Initiator" ports into it, so they cannot communicate with each other, but can still access the target ports
I thought ACL's wer used to define access lists at a VLAN boundry?
Thanks of your help so far
