buffer size for PowerConnect 6248
Does anyone know what is the switching buffer size for the PowerConnect 6248?
Is all the buffer available for all ports? In some switch architecture the buffer is composed of several partitions, each serving a group of ports. To maximize performance, one should use all of these groups.
Does the 6248 has similar structure, or is all the buffer available for all the ports?
Can you also answer the same question for the 5324?
Thanks,

Found my answer.
256 MP shared across all ports evenly.

6200 switches have 768 KBytes of buffer memory that is dynamically allocated acrosse all ports.

Where was this information found? I would just like a reference if possible.
