powerconnect 7048 in a rack is it possible

Hi

I have bunches of powerconnect 7048 to put in rack as top of rack.

But i m a bit afraid to do that

Indeed this kind of switches have only rackmount ears

The switch with this two power supplies is heavy.

Has someone alrady put theses switchs in tack with only the two rackmount ears?

Here is a link to the getting started guide.

ftp.dell.com/.../powerconnect-7048_Setup%20Guide_en-us.pdf

It discusses the steps for securely mounting the switch to a rack.  It does look like the ears for this switch are longer and have a few more holes to attach on the side of the switch chassis.  This should allow better support for the additional weight.
