Try manually setting the port speed on the interface instead of auto. Page 193 https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/common/os10_enterprise-ug_en-us.pdf

Hi Josh,
thanks for the reply. I am late with my response because somehow i didnt get a notification of our response.
I ll try that today.
BTW: Connecting the OOB of a switch to its switchports shall not result in any disturbance, right?
And which mac address shall i choose for the vlti-mac? an existing of the switches or a new one?
Best wishes
In the meantime I updated to OS 10.4.3.6

Right, it should not cause an issue. Use a new mac. https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/how10660/how-to-set-up-virtual-link-trunking-vlt-on-dell-networking-force10-switches?lang=en

Hey Josh,
I checked config but we are facing issues if we connect the oob on mgmt vlan (vlan id 74) to the same switch.
The setup is 2x2 S4148T in VLTi
first vlti:
switch IP 10.50.74.77 (mgmt 1/1/1) and 10.50.74.78 (mgmt 1/1/1)
config 10.50.74.77
vlt-domain 1backup destination 10.50.74.78discovery-interface ethernet1/1/25-1/1/26primary-priority 4032vlt-mac 00:11:22:33:44:55
config 10.50.74.78
vlt-domain 1backup destination 10.50.74.77discovery-interface ethernet1/1/25-1/1/26vlt-mac 00:11:22:33:44:55
second vlti:
switch IP 10.50.74.79 (mgmt 1/1/1) and 10.50.74.80 (mgmt 1/1/1)
config 10.50.74.79
vlt-domain 2backup destination 10.50.74.80discovery-interface ethernet1/1/25-1/1/26primary-priority 4032vlt-mac 68:4f:64:84:94:fe
config 10.50.74.80
vlt-domain 2backup destination 10.50.74.79discovery-interface ethernet1/1/25-1/1/26vlt-mac 68:4f:64:84:94:fe
if we connect laptop to port 1/1/3 (vlan 74) on switch 10.50.74.77
and the mgmt interface of the switche to themself port 1/1/7 (vlan 74)
We dont get and a positive icmp for alle 4 switch mgmt 1/1/1 IPs
the two vlti fabrics are connected via vlt portchannel 1
interface port-channel1description "uplink vlti 1 vlti 2"no shutdownswitchport mode trunkswitchport access vlan 1switchport trunk allowed vlan 64,74,78,84,88vlt-port-channel 1
as a workaround we have a desktop switch with uplink to vlti 1 and vlti 2 Trunk (vlan 74) where the other ports have vlan 74 access mode and the mgmt 1/1/1 and the laptop are connected to and this is working.
I hope you can assist here

Is the laptop in the same subnet? How is the management port configured? Page 43 and 153 https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/common/os10_enterprise-ug_en-us.pdf
