show dot1x command missing after upgrade to 6.6.0.17

On an N2048P that I upgraded from 6.5.4.4 to 6.6.0.17 the command show dot1x users no longer works. That is to say, it is not available, even in privileged exec (enable) mode. Also, using the web interface, going to Switching | Network Security | Authenticated Users does not correctly list the authenticated users. It presents a list of ports, but no usernames.

I saw nothing about this command being removed in the release notes for this version, and the CLI guide states that the command is availavble.

Here are the commands available:

swi-02#show dot1x ?

Press enter to execute the command.
| Output filter options.
detail Display the details of the configuration for the
                         specified port.
statistics Display the statistics for the specified port.

swi-02#show dot1x

I think another 1 or 2 commands are missing as well: show dot1x interface statistics, and show dot1x supplicant summary {interface-id}.

Hi,

Release 6.6.0.2 / 6.6.0.32

 Implementation of IEEE 802.1X-2010 specification.

I think this is what the change was to make it more secure.

Thanks for the reply. However, the CLI documentation for this version still makes mention of the show dot1x command and the others I mentioned. That makes me think that it hasn't been removed, rather that it is a bug.

I can pass it along.

Thanks for that. Please keep me posted. The command is also in the 6.6.1 version documents (even though the version 6.6.1 is not available to download).

I have no heard anything yet, any changes might not be until the patch after 6.6.0.17. If you are in warranty phone support may be able to give you a faster answer
