Configuring the modem settings solves the problem, but it is the same again when you turn it on and off.

1. Is the Modem and the computer on the same network?
2. Are you getting any error message specifically when trying to connect the system to the network?
3. Also, check the cable connecting from the computer to the Modem.

If you can not reach the login page, it may be due to: Entering the IP address 192.168.1.1 incorrectly. An IP address issue on the computer. A hardwired connection configuration issue or a bad Ethernet cable. An issue with the wireless router itself.

One thing to remember--you cannot access the interface on a wireless connection. You must use an Ethernet cable connection.
