I'm using the AVG 2012 free edition. The only firewall I know about is the Windows Firewall and that is on. I'll download Malwarebytes too.
I also have another question that might cause this problem.
In the Device Manager under "Other Devices" It shows Serial ATA Controller with a yellow ! on it. When I try to update the driver it says no driver found. I tried searching for the Serial ATA Controller driver but cannot find any.
PudgyOne you are the MAN!!! I feel like a dumb now...I ordered the network card yesterday on ebay...a $10 dollar mistake.
You were correct I installed windows 7 ultimate 64bit but after downloading and installing the Correct drivers, from the link you posted. My internet is working fine. I don't have to do that little fix trick every time.
I cannot believe you fixed this problem. Thank you, thank you, thank you very much!
Not sure which one fixed the issue. I only downloaded the Chipset, the Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet card driver, and the Matrix Intell driver for the ATA controller.
Thanks again! Now I just have to sell that network card on craigslists...or keep it just incase!

ThatOne_Gamer,
Did you recently install the operating system? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
THIS is for printers but there is a setting in there you may need.
Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers

Don't waste your money.
If your internet access is fine in Safe Mode, then the network card is *not* bad. It is something else.

ThatOne_Gamer,
What virus program and firewall are you using?
Have yo scanned for malware? Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware update it and do a quick scan. Report back if it finds anything.
